Ingredients of Chicken Pot Rice
- Prepare 2 tbsp of sesame oil.
- You need 2 tbs of Regular cooking Oil.
- You need 8-10 cloves of Garlic.
- Prepare of ginger 1 tbps.
- It's of schezwan 2 packets king chilli.
- It's of soya sauce 2 tbps.
- Prepare of Chilli sauce.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Vinegar.
- It's 4 pieces of Star Spice.
- You need 1 tbsp of honey.
- You need of Chicken 1/4 kg boneless.
- Prepare 2 pieces of Red chilli.
- It's 2 pieces of green chilli.
- Prepare of Mix veggies cut ( mushroom, Broccoli, babycorn, carrot, zucchini.
- You need of .. capsicum, cabbage,corn).
- It's of Corn starch 1tbps mixed with water.
- It's of Spring onion(diced) + leaves for garnishing.
Chicken Pot Rice step by step
- Add oil to a clay pot or Wok,on medium flame when heated up add garlic, ginger, spring onion, star spice, green chilli, break the red chilli and cook these ingredient till garlic is cooked..
- Once garlic is cooked immediately add all below ingredients schezwan + soya sauce + chilli sauce + honey..cook till it caramelizes and you get it's aroma..
- Fry chicken either separately in a pan with schezwan + soya sauce + ginger garlic paste or Add whole chicken to the above Step and cook till tender..
- Now add all the Vegies and cook for 5 mins and mix well..
- In a separate vessel steam rice till it's 75% cooked with salt to your liking..
- Finally add the drained rice in the pot or wok where all the veggies are cooked..
- Add 3 glasses of water and cornflour starch to the pot and mix well..
- Close the pot tight with a lid and let it cook on slow heat for 20 mins..
- Garnish with Spring Onion..
