Ingredients of Banoffee pie

  1. You need 125gms of Digestive biscuits.
  2. You need 55gms of Butter-.
  3. Prepare 175-200gms of Condensed milk-.
  4. It's 2 of Bananas.
  5. You need 200gms of Fresh cream-.
  6. You need of Chocolate shavings and fresh fruits for garnishing.

I've heard of banoffee pie but I've never had it — just the sound of coffee whipped cream alone would make me try it! Heat your dulce de leche in a shallow water bath that you've brought to a bare simmer. This will make the thick dulce de leche pourable. Banoffee pie instructions

  1. Put the unopened can of condensed milk in a pressure cooker and fill with water till more than half the tin is submerged in it.give it 2 whistles on high flame then cook for 45 minutes on low flame.switch off the gas and wait till the steam has settled down,remove the can and keep aside to cool down.we have the toffee ready.
  2. Whip the fresh cream with very little or no sugar(as the toffee is very sweet i avoid adding sugar to the cream) till soft peaks are formed. Refrigerate.
  3. Make a biscuit crumb base with crushed bisuits and melted butter press it firmly in a pie dish and refrigerate till assembling time.
  4. Just before assembling the dish chop bananas to fine slices.
  5. Assembling-remove the pie dish with crumb base,line it with chopped banana sliced,cover with the toffee mixture(open the tin to find the delicious toffee ready)since mixture is sticky spread it with the help of spoon dipped in hot water,finally cover it with whipped cream either directly or from a piping bag,garnish with chocolate shavings and fresh fruits of your choice...refrigerate.
